Once upon a time, two sisters, a teacher and a web designer, had an idea. They wanted to find a way to make it easier for teachers and other educators to find excursion venues that met their key learning criteria.

The teacher knew how hard it was to find interesting venues and get accurate information. She saw flyers come into the school office and never get distributed, she was frustrated that the flyers that made it to the staff room were perpetually out of date, and she knew that the smaller venues didn’t have the budget to send flyers to every school. There had to be a better way.

The web designer listened to the Teacher’s problem and instantly thought of a solution. One that would not just help the Teacher find school excursion venues, but other services and events as well. So she sketched out her ideas and showed them to the Teacher.

The Teacher was very excited about the web site, but there was something missing - it had no personality. So the Teacher and the Web Designer turned to their other sister, the Chronic Doodler for inspiration, and it wasn’t long before ‘Ms Dazzle’ was born.

Next the sisters had to figure out how to execute their plan, so they turned to their brother, the Networker. He brought on board one of his friends, the Developer, to build the site, and another, the Mentor, to help publicize the site and sell it to the world.

Unfortunately all the siblings had a lot going on in their lives, so it took several years for all the ideas to be incorporated in the final design, but in 2006 it all came together, and Dazzled.com.au was launched.
